Pharmaceutical and biotechnology major Wockhardt has received final approval from the United States Food & Drug Administration (US FDA) for its ANDA for 0.1% ophthalmic solution of Olopatadine HCI. The eye drop Olopatadine HCI 0.1% ophthalmic solution is a generic version of PatanolTM, marketed in the United States by Alcon, a subsidiary of Novartis.
The product will be manufactured at a US FDA approved contract manufacturing organization, based in Montreal, Canada.
